SETalks.com with a new Skin!

SEO and Inbound Marketing is an ever changing industry and in order to survive in this competitive world one needs to learn and act quickly and this is exactly what we did!

We, SEtalks.com just moved from:

 to

Why Change?

I do love my blog like my baby but at the same time I love to hear honest opinions from the people instead of saying “great blog”! My previous blog design had some major problem so I decided to fix the errors as many as I can to enhance user’s visiting experience.

What New Blog design has to offer?

There were multiple things that were missing in the previous blog design so we thought to emphasize on those while deciding for a new design.

  • Readability Issues

Friends and fans of SEtalks from different parts of the world pointed that the previous blog font or color was not good and made the overall content blur which was difficult to read. I took this issue seriously and this time you will find it BIG and clear so that any and everyone can read our thoughts easily without any hassle.

  • Writing Area

I with my team wrote around 70+ posts on previous design and we all had the similar issue, writing area! In-case we needed to add the infographic or a big image back then.

In this blog, my focus was to get slightly bigger writing area so that I can easily add big images and infographics without compromising on the quality of the image.

  • Mobile Version

When I started, I knew that my website is not mobile friendly but at that time I was fine with it because my research told me that it will take a bit of time to increase the mobile traffic above 10% but within a year my mobile traffic increased up to 12% and this worries me a lot.

This new design is responsive so technically this is ipad and mobile friendly.

Any change in the vision?

Absolutely NO! Infact in order to offer expert level information we now have a section of SEO Interviews and Webmaster Videos. At the moment the content in these sections is not enough but we will keep updating them on continuous basis.

We are still offering services that are being displayed in the sidebar. We have added one service that is Blog Management for those small businesses who want to get better traffic and conversions from their blog.

Same with branded3 and Moz. But honestly, I like the new setalks.com design. The composition is more elegant than the old one and looks more professional.

The design certainly look more corporate. the readability has been an issue but it is nice to see a website with some cool shades of blue. the new logo is a surprise!

I didn’t see the previous version but I like this one. Did you have to modify more things different to the design? For example the size of the pictures of each post or any other element.

I actually had few problems with the previous design that
includes the total area of the content, color of text, over all look and feel
so I consider all the criticism and come up with this version and I am glad
that most people liked it! 🙂

Good going Moosa. Website looks much better with the new face lift. You can now take it to the next level by doing some interesting split testing with variations to improve conversions. Best of luck!
